Fly Fishing Classes

Give a person a fish, and they will eat for a day. Teach a person to fish, and they will never want to go home!

Montana fly fishing is a sport filled with beauty. The graceful arc of the fly line, the gentle whisper of the cascading river, and the simple fact that trout live in some of the most beautiful areas of the world. For those that are interested in learning the art of fly fishing, the Bighorn River Lodge offers instructional classes. These classes have been developed for those that want to learn the basics as well as those who just want to brush up on their angling skills.

These classes are led by some of Montana’s best guides who are experts in casting, reading rivers and fly selection. You will learn the fundamentals that will turn your interest in fly fishing into a passion.
